NMBI Decision Letter Received

Some applicants got their decision letter a month after all their documents were received by NMBI (lucky them!) while others took longer. Mine, it took the NMBI two and a half months to assess my papers. I’m not even sure about the date they sent the letter. What is certain is that my decision letter is finally here!

On September 14, 2016, NMBI updated my application status in their website from Assessment to Decision Pending which means that they will deliver the decision letter shortly by post. I was waiting for it since then but I received no mail. So yesterday, I called my agency to follow-up. True to my expectations, my decision letter has arrived already but it was sent to my agency. I was glad I called so I was able to spare myself from longer time of waiting and worrying. It was such a relief! (But I forgot to ask what the decision was. I just assumed I have to undergo the adaptation. Haha) However, I do not have a copy of the DL since I haven’t visited my agency yet. But even though my DL is here, I am having a problem with my passport. Since my current passport is expiring April next year, I need to renew it. The problem is, DFA had implemented the use of online application since June and all slots in Metro Manila offices are now full up to November. I was able to get a schedule at DFA Tuguegarao but that will be on October 21, the earliest available slot that time.

In addition to that, I heard that the next batch will be on February. At first, I was kind of frustrated. I am an impatient kind of girl who hates waiting. However, I always see the good in every situation. God must have a reason for it. First and foremost, I can still spend Christmas and New Year with my family and celebrate my brother and my father’s birthday before I leave. Second, there is a possibility that I and my friends will become batch mates in February! It must have been God’s will and I learned (with all the challenges I had faced) not to question him because He knows better than I.

So, who among you will be deployed in Beaumont Hospital? Hope to see you there next year!

Hello there! I’m also under Chesham Recruitment Inc. and will be deploy in Beaumont Hospital as well. Ms. Ogario told me via Viber last November 4 that my adaptation schedule will be on February 6, 2016. I asked her for the next steps to do and told me she will send me and email, however, until now I haven’t receive any email from her. How about you, what’s the latest update regarding your papers?

I just wanted to ask if how could I determine the pending documents I still need to submit in NMBI. I just checked my account and my application status was documents outstanding. However, there were no words highlighted and I haven’t received any email even my agency regarding these “documents pending”. What I saw on my account are the forms I sent to them including from the relevant authorities with the received dates. All documents posted had dates specified indicating the time they receive these documents. So, I am really confuse regarding my status as documents outstanding. Is it possible that the tracker is not updated? I raised this concern in my agency and their contact person just told me to wait for the status to be changed/updated. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi I think that you just need to keep checking they will update your status. If I may share my experience 2 of my documents have been outstanding for over 4 months but last week my account got updated finally I am waiting for my DL ( hoping it doesn’t take 4 months😂) I would strongly urge anyone applying to use an agency . The process is quite easy and I was doing it on my own actually I have done it on my own all through until my documents got stuck. As I await my DL I wish to encourage those who are starting the process or in the process never to stop dreaming. God never allows dreams that He can not fulfill. Let’s be patient It is well

Hi! Just want to say thanks for answering all my queries in the past! My status changed from Review Pending to Assessment last April 28th and today they changed it to “Decision Pending”. However , I have issues with regard to my name , I already sent an email to them and I spoke to one of their representatives about this and they asked me to follow up after 5 days. For anonymity , I’m just going to use pseudo names . I am married and the name that I used in my application is Frances Reyes Cruz which is my married name and the same name on my passport , however , NMBI changed it to Frances Soriano Cruz, Soriano being my mother’s family name and Cruz my husband’s family name. Am I right for asking them to restore my original name in the application (Frances Reyes Cruz) because the name Frances Soriano Cruz is not consistent with the name on my passport ? Any married women here who are processing their applications / already in Ireland ? Please help!😢

Hi Keithie, thank you for your response I really need help asap. I sent my CCPS verification form to PRC in Nigeria to be mailed to NMBI and it’s almost a month now. I contacted NMBI they said they have not received it and the board in Nigeria said they have sent it and are so sloppy to provide me with the tracking number. Again, PRC in my country told me they only sent verification ( I only paid for) without certificate of good standing. Since the certificate of good standing was not mentioned in the verification form, do I send a certificate of good standing separately to nmbi since verification might have been sent.

They havent sent it to me the result since it was out available on 23 June 2017. Please? Thank you!!!

Hi. Your Decision letter actually contained the date for adaptation? Am I correct? 🙂

Hi ma’am keithie. I am also under chesham. I started my nmbi registration last month. Im still waiting for my DL. I wanna ask if chesham told you your designated hospital right away? When i tried to talk to them they still did not tell me about the hospital assigned to me? Do you have the same experience? Thank you..

Hi! Your page is really helpful. I am also a member of FB group Fil Nurses for Ireland..while waiting for my IELTS to start my application, I’m thinking what agency to apply. I read that many are under Chesham..but also considering the agency tied up with the group. And also, still (partially) thinking if it will be Ireland or New Zealand (70/30). What do you think?

Hello there! I am currently filling out the forms of the pack. I am just a bit worried about the CCPS and the ones that needed the authorized agency’s stamp. Do they really need to receive the pertinent documents directly from the relevant authorities like PRC, Saudi council, University where I studied and my previous and current employer? Or we can send it to them as scanned files? I have an agency in Ireland already, but I’d really appreciate if you could help me on this. Thank you and More power! -pyridoxine

Hi!Just want to clarify why you want to send the scanned copies if you can give them the original copies? Are you referring to the nmbi application pack that will be sent to prc, schools and employers? If yes, scanned copies or photocopies will do.However,if you are referring to the documents that will be sent to NMBI,I reckon it must be the original copy with the dryseal. It needs to be sent directly to NMBI unless your agency told you to send it to them first for instance, section 1.

I was thinking if I could sent it through the agency then I will spend less money for the courier fee. So it means that i will send the documents deparately from PRC, my current employer locally and my previous employer in Saudi, and another one from my School. Is that it? 🙁 itll be too costly then 🙁

Ask your agency if that can be done but as per instruction, it must be sent directly to NMBI. You can send a scanned copy of the nmbi application pack for these authorities to fill up but once it is already filled up, you need to send it separately and directly to NMBI.it really is expensive but that is the way it goes. The expenses will be worth it once you are here already.God bless!

Hi keithie, my online account changed to assessment on 6th of July, called nmbi and they said assessment takes 90 days besides they flooded by so many applicants hence the delay. But what worries me is that I haven’t received any job offer, though I’m doing the processing on my own. All recruitment agencies I contacted said I must have a decision letter before looking for an employer and that’s really frustrating. I need your kind suggestion. Thanks

Because of this it’s going to take a longer time for me to complete other processing. I need your suggestions. Thanks

Hello! The freeze hiring of some hospitals here in Ireland and the increasing number of EU and non-EU applicants are the possible reasons for the delay. In my opinion, there is nothing you can do about it but wait and pray. I heard that some agencies are no longer accepting applicants because Ireland wants to hire their graduates first.Even those who have decision letters are affected. The only suggestion I can give you is to wait patiently. On the other hand, you can apply to other countries if you are in a hurry to work abroad however, that will still take time and money.
